It’s been a while since I’ve written a proper post about what I’ve been up to, so I suppose it’s time for another update!
For the past month I’ve been (trying) to participate in Nanowrimo. After a combination of starting two days late, then stumbling into a pit of steaming writer’s block and lack of motivation it looks like I’m going to finish the month with only just over ten thousand words. It’s only a fifth of the way towards the intended goal, but I’m nonetheless happy with the fact that I’m walking away with ten thousand more words that I would have had if I didn’t participate in the first place. The story is very much still a work in progress, but I’ll try to post up an extract at some point.
New ‘Events’ page
If you haven’t noticed it yet, I’ve started a new page for events on the Magpie Mind blog. So far it’s being used to post up details about my upcoming gigs! Click here to check it out. However, it turns out that I’ve been dropped out of the gig I thought I was doing on the 21st of December. Oh well! That was going to be the last one for 2012, but now we shall have to see what next year brings.
Apart from still uploading cover songs to Youtube, I’ve finally made the move to Youku as well. I’m aware that my Youku is obviously a bit devoid of content, but I’m sure that will be sorted soon! Here are the links for both:
